Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will provide project management and creative development support of marketing programs and campaigns for the NRG retail electricity brands, f This role collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and works closely with several internal teams including, but not limited to, brand, agency partners, business teams, legal/regulatory, strategy and operations to ensure alignment. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist team with implementation of marketing plans and campaigns.
Manages multi-marketing channel strategies by collaborating with business stakeholders and multiple internal departments.
Ensures creative messaging is differentiated among four brands.
Assist with developing the prospect and customer lifecycle journey across four brands.
Assist with implementation of marketing plans for bringing new products to market and the associated customer communications.
Assists with monthly promotional calendar planning and implementation.
Collaborates with internal colleagues such as Product development, creative, and Go-to-Market strategy.
Must think about consumer engagement and overall customer experience and is an advocate for the consumer.
Deliver relevant campaign reports and present insights to keep larger organization abreast of marketing activities.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of how to build a brand through creative marketing while remaining focused on ROI.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Open office environment.
Some overtime required as special projects arise.
Travel minimal less than 5%.
Hybrid position 3 days in person 2 days remote.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field preferred.
1-3+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising, account planning, customer communications, brand management or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing acquisition and/or customer retention efforts.
Experience with subscription-based industry (electricity, cable, internet, etc.)
Marketing experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively (verbal, written and visual).
Ability to present to management, excellent relationship-building & interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments and organizations.
Possess a team first attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
