  DescriptionThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for marketing products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports. The Marketing Coordinator will work to assist our sales team in their support of customers, implementing tactical initiatives as outlined in the annual marketing plans and inside sales tasks.This position will report to the Director of Marketing and is best suited for someone with 2-5 years of experience.RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.Data reporting for marketing campaigns including mailings, social media and digital campaigns.Supports sales staff by providing marketing support, account analyses, relaying customer services requests.Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Assist Director of Marketing in the execution of divisional marketing plans, specifically in the areas of: print and email marketing, social media, and brand developmentActively participate in group collaboration for new initiativesPlan and coordinate all logistics associated with trade shows, conferences and sponsored eventsAssist in the development of creative briefs and execution of creative deliverablesPrepares materials for sales presentations, conferences, events, etc.Obtains quotes and liaises with vendors for various marketing projectsContent development for social media, marketing campaigns, etc.Assist in the maintenance of website contentManage the media buying process for the department's advertising planPrepare regular progress reports and status updates for assigned tasks & initiativesLead and assist with special projects as requiredSupport Director of Marketing with other projects as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:BS/BA in Marketing or related degree2-5 years of experience in business analyst or marketing analyst capacitySKILLS:Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Publisher, Access, PowerPoint, Excel) including Pivot TablesFamiliarity with Business Intelligence reporting systems and CRM or related systemsProficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and.or other design softwareKnowledge of Salesforce and Marketing CloudThorough knowledge of marketing principlesAttention to detail and a strong commitment to exceptional copy writing and copy editingSolid business acumen and project management skillsStrong organizational skills (prioritizing, time management, etc.)Ability to prioritize multiple projects, to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
