Job Description
MARKET INTELLIGENCE AND BUSINESS ANALYST, Open Learning, to develop actionable insights that improve marketing effectiveness, inform product development and pricing, and identify new opportunities. Major activities include conducting market and industry research; augmenting and employing tools to identify, collect, clean, organize, and synthesize data; using statistical analysis, modeling, predictive analytics, and other tools to interpret data; and delivering pertinent intelligence and business implications in a concise and understandable way. Will also work across the organization to identify pressing questions, prioritize projects, and develop standardized reports and self-service access to critical information. Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least seven years of relevant experience; demonstrated history of quantitative, analytical, and conceptual approach with attention to detail; experience identifying, analyzing, and synthesizing data into clear, compelling conclusions; knowledge of analytical and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL); experience with visualization software (e.g., Tableau); and strong communication skills. Seek a self-starter who is able to work independently, demonstrates initiative, and can operate successfully in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. Must be able to identify, structure, and analyze complex problems and deliver on-time, high-quality results; develop relationships across an organization; and collaborate with a diverse group of managers. PREFERRED: undergraduate degree in quantitative or business-related field or a relevant advanced degree.
