Responsibilities
The Market Development Rep is responsible for working with the service area leadership team to actively seek out opportunities and implement strategies to improve service line delivery and physician satisfaction.
Qualifications
The incumbent will gather data regarding patient referral sources, and make recommendations to service line leaders for improvement.
The Market Development Representative will serve as a liaison between internal communications, business development and service line leadership and the medical community, and will support the development of action plans in growing service line volumes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven skills in organizing and prioritizing sales objectives, executing on sales action plans, setting targets and working collaboratively with others to meet his/her goals.
The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others across all departments, at all levels of a complex organization.
Working knowledge of service offerings and/or pharmaceutical products a plus, with a focus on achievement of measurable results, interpreting and analyzing financial and statistical reports.
Excellent customer service skills a must.
California driver's license and proof of automobile liability required.
Experience in outside sales required. Knowledge/experience with a diversified healthcare delivery system preferable.
Knowledge/experience with senior/commercial risk sharing and other managed care plans a plus.
Pay Range
$33.60 - $48.73 /hour
