MARKET DEVELOPMENT LEAD

The National Market Development role is a dynamic role that will assist in managing and optimizing the partnerships and distribution strategy within the North America Region for OEM and other target markets including but not limited to Electrical Vehicles. This role supports Leica Microsystems’ strategy by implementing tactics to drive growth, ensuring effective market activities, training and technical recommendation as well as monitoring performance to achieve revenue and margin goals. This position is fully remote.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance and Onboarding: Ensure compliance and integrity, supporting OEMs and other partners with the onboarding processes, including NDAs and legal contracts

Strategic and Sales Support: Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth in target markets, closely monitor market activities for ROI, and support sales forecasting

OEM Account Management: monitor and support OEM accounts and review and approve quotes for profitability and margin compliance, as well as conduct business reviews to reveal underlying trends

Marketing Support: Aid in the execution of marketing initiatives, attend tradeshows, organize product training, distribute materials in relation to OEM and target markets

Technical Support: Work with and connect OEM customers with Leica RD to ensure product compatibility and integration into their OEM product. Provide quotations and ensure OEMs have access to necessary technical support and design data, including drawings and models. Connect OEMs with service as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field or equivalent experience.

3+ years of sales experience or related experience.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel as required.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel (40-60%) - primarily overnight, domestic travel.

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

The base salary range is $80,000.00-$90,000.00 for this role. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
