Position PurposeThe Water Technologies and Solutions, Analytical Instruments product linebusiness has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Software Engineering Manager.

　　The Manufacturing Software Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineerswho develop, implement, and support software solutions for ourmanufacturing processes. This role enables us to support and develop a rangeof legacy and new technology solutions across the full spectrum ofmanufacturing capability, from high-volume automation to low-volume manualassembly.

　　Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide team leadership, performance management, and development coachingand guidance for all manufacturing software engineers.Ensure team members have the necessary tools, supplies, and resources forsuccessful software engineering project completion.Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation forsoftware usage, maintenance, and other requirements.Create and maintain software applications and databases that supportmanufacturing in various languages such as Visual C++, Visual Basic forApplications (VBA), C Sharp (C#), Java, ASP.NET, MySQL, and Tableau.Offer day-to-day ongoing support, monitoring, troubleshooting, andmaintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).Collaborate closely with management, engineering, manufacturing, andquality teams to design and develop intuitive custom applications to reducedowntime, maintain regulatory compliance, and improve productivity.Develop and execute advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) queries toproduce process metrics, reports, and live dashboards.

　　Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of networking architectures and routing.Proficiency in database modeling, management, and retrieval (StructuredQuery Language SQL for MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server).Familiarity with client-server architecture and communication protocols.Managing a team

　　Core QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or arelevant field.At least 5 years of programming work experience, preferably in amanufacturing environment.At least 1 year of experience managing multiple people or teams.Preferred:Experience in supporting manufacturing operations.Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio.Proficiency in Visual C++, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), C Sharp (C#).Experience with database applications such as MySQL.Experience with Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) and Tableau.Familiarity with development process tools such as GitHub and Jira.
