Responsible for creating, managing and maintaining standards for manufacturing processes, carries out the industrialization process of new programs. Manages process change for continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with customer requirements, local and international standards applicable to manufacturing processes.
Establishes, measures and improves operations cycle times.- Analyzes and plans labor utilization, space requirements, workflows, equipment layout design and workspaces for maximum efficiency.- Responsible for the management of product contact tooling in manufacturing processes.- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of flow chart, FEA, Work Instructions, process sheets and standard methods for setup.- Ensures compliance with customer specific requirements in manufacturing processes.- Works with Product Engineering and Quality Engineering to define process specifications and parameters. - Establishes, validates and maintains process controls or error proofing devices and error detection devices.- Creates and maintains in conjunction with the Quality Engineer reference parts also referred to as: red rabbits and masters.- Performs equipment and process validations through statistical analysis, validation runs and evaluates manufacturing processes in terms of overall equipment performance.- Applies troubleshooting tools for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions in a systematic manner.- Defines and establishes together with product engineer, quality engineer and quality manager the product acceptance criteria.
Develops and implements improvement proposals, provides support for the improvement of OEE and its elements, as well as scrap.- Actively participates in decision making with multidisciplinary teams, kick-off meetings, process evaluation and maintenance.- Provides training to operators and maintenance technicians within their areas of action.- Participates in the elaboration of product and process deviations, as well as in the evaluation and approval of permanent changes in both items.- Conducts audits with the reverse FEA methodology according to established schedules.- Participates in the development of APQP documentation.- Maintains updated metrics and indicators established by the plant. - Performs ergonomic studies and improvements of processes and equipment.- Actively participates in the continuous improvement processes established in the business strategy.
Performs layer audits of their work areas or those established by the quality management system coordinator. - Responsible for complying with and promoting compliance with internal work regulations, safety policy, quality policy, quality management system procedures, environmental policy, process maps and work instructions in all areas within the plant.
