　　The Finance and Cost Analyst will be responsible for collecting, compiling, verifying, and analyzing financial information, economic indicators, and other reporting data to support budgeting, strategic and operational planning. This role will also give manufacturing accounting support including maintaining the processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

　　Responsible for reporting, analyzing and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.

　　Develop analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyze the company's short, medium, and long term position (Outlook, Annual Plan and Long Range Plan).

　　Drive for functional excellence in cost-effectiveness/productivity/process simplification through Continuous Improvement.

　　Conduct and document financial analysis related to Capex or other initiatives.

　　Support/backup the routine tasks of analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing, and labor methods to determine effects on costs, and look for process improvement opportunities.

　　Month End reporting tasks such as validating revenue and cost of goods sold.

　　Other duties may be assigned.

　　Experience with Lean or Continuous Improvement

　　Working knowledge of general ledger functions.

　　Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information and make recommendations to senior leadership.

　　Robust professional communication skills

　　Strong team contributor

　　Excellent skills with Excel and entire Microsoft Office Suite

　　Experience with accounting software (JDE or another full-scale ER software)

　　Strong knowledge of US GAAP

　　Detail oriented, with accurate and precise attention to detail.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, business administration or related field.

　　2+ years relevant experience accounting experience, preferably supporting a manufacturing operation/business.
