Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible forongoing process improvement initiatives that deliver excellence acrossentire value chain. This position develops and improves manufacturingprocesses and product quality by studying product and manufacturingmethods, identifying areas of improvement, and working withmanufacturing personnel to ensure plans are implemented. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating the successfullaunch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations. Contributeto facility transformation, technology transfer and ongoing maintenanceof mixed model lines or value streams. Ensure ongoing success of processimprovement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures and processdocumentation. Implement demand driven principles and strategies thatsupports operational excellence and long range plans. (Flexibility,Speed & Responsiveness) Ensure product, material and information streamsflow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowestcost of operation. Contribute to creation of innovative ideas to improvebusiness results. Deploy standard Generac tools, methodologies,standards, practices and processes. Implement objectives to includecontinuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction andfulfillment needs. Work closely with shop floor personnel to promoteongoing continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, systems andcontrols. Responsible for area layouts, process definition, PLCprograming, design/selection, justification, and implementation ofequipment, programs, and tooling. Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor\'sDegree in Engineering or Industrial Technology and 3-5 years relatedexperience in the Engineering function within a similar workingenvironment. Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing Engineeringexperience.
