We are seeking a mid-level to senior-level Manufacturing Engineer to apply a detailed understanding of manufacturing technology improvements across the PEO Aviation portfolio. Every day you will utilize your in-depth knowledge and experience in Manufacturing Engineering in order to formulate inputs and recommendations to various aviation system manufacturing technology improvement activities. You will use your knowledge and experience to assess manufacturing, materials, and processes for aviation systems, subsystems, and components to identify and coordinate improvement concepts and tasks that can be implemented to significantly reduce cost, weight, and supportability requirements. In this role, you will need to demonstrate strong time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet task deadlines. This role requires the highest level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional written skills, analytical skills, and a strong attention to detail. This role requires an understanding and experience in the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) maturation process from Research and Development (R&D) to Prototyping, Production, and Fielding. You will apply Value Engineering methods to assess and evaluate the benefits, effectiveness, and efficiency of improvement programs and technologies. You will develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation and program administration.Required
ABET accredited BS in an Engineering discipline or BS in a related technical discipline
Minimum 4 years of related experience
Experience with Army Aviation Weapon Systems
Some travel may be necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to present technical approaches and concepts at the Army PEO level
In-depth understanding of Manufacturing Requirements and Processes
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies (composites, additive manufacturing, industry 4.0)
Knowledge of DoD Technology Readiness Level/Manufacturing Readiness Level (TRL/MRL) assessment
