JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Bruno is looking to hire a processdevelopment leader to help launch and support a new product and continueleading new products following this initial success. This positionrequires a dynamic person to provide leadership to cross-functional teammembers while implementing new processes, and machinery to bring a keyproduct to market. Responsibilities Lead cross functional teams tosuccessfully complete large-scale, highly visible projects. Providein-house expertise on CNC freeform bending system utilized to createstairlift rails for Bruno\'s premier product line. Set up the associatedproduction cells for the rail fabrication line. Develop inspectionprocesses utilizing modern metrology methods to maintain acceptabletolerance capability for products produced Leverage statistical analysisto make data driven decisions. Monitor the tube bending industry forbest-in-class solutions to launch a global product line. Troubleshootexisting design and process issues. Develop new processes around newproduct designs to take them from the development phases intoproduction. Perform tests to verify manufacturing process or equipmentincluding machine capability and reliability studies. Lead orparticipate in design for manufacturability reviews. Designcustom-engineered fixtures for production of weldments, manufactureditems, and assembly and/or work with outside suppliers on fixturerequirements and designs. Education and Experience: Bachelor\'s Degreein Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering and 5 - 7 years\' experienceor equivalent combination of education and experience in process controland troubleshooting (in a medium production volume shop). Proficient in3D engineering software. Skills and Abilities: Read, analyze, andinterpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures,business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished inwritten, oral or diagram form. Create business-level writtencorrespondence and verbally present information to internal and externalcustomers. Requires job-related software skills; CAD (2D & 3D), CAM,G-code, MS Office, as well as ERP and the ability to operate a varietyof standard office equipment. Knowledge of metal forming processes andequipment particularly steel tube forming, machining, and welding.Strong DOE and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to applyValue stream mapping and lean manufacturing principles (DMAIC, PDCA,6Sigma, SPC, data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Minitab)). Knowledge ofmeasurement systems such as Romer or Faro and their use for productioninspection and pre-production part qualification. Demonstrated knowledgeof software, such as Polyworks, used to do production qualification ispreferred. Demonstrated ability to work for and provide leadership toother people to help build a World Class business. WorkingConditions/Physical Demands: Regular office environment, approximately50% Modern production and Assembly facilities with heat and airconditioning approximately 45% Occasional travel including outside theU.S. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to sit, use hands and fingers to handle or touch; and talk andhear.
