Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer near Nashville, TN. This position will help to ensure successful execution of new launches and have an understanding of flow of production operations as well as the use of safe tooling, personnel, and facilities. This room as a lot of potential for growth.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Continuous improvement on current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency

　　Define new product manufacturing tooling and assembly line process and integrate into existing production system

　　Utilize Industrial Engineering tools for operations and layout analysis; including time studies, ergonomic assessments, and throughput improvement

　　Provide technical direction to and oversight of suppliers during design and fabrication of new tooling

　　Support installation, tryout, and debug of tooling and equipment at the assembly plant

　　Support new vehicle build events and launch at assembly plant

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred

　　3+ years of experience as a process/manufacturing engineer

　　Experience with tooling, assembly, both automation and manual processes

　　Experience in the automotive industry - OEM or Tier 1 supplier –

　　Strong continuous improvement experience

　　LEAN Six Sigma
