Description:
This manufacturing engineer will assist with floor layouts for new machine installs, process improvements, troubleshooting machines and executing solutions to the problem. They will perform duties in planning and designing tools, machines and other mechanical equipment. They will oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of the equipment. This position is heavily focused on the floor, will have some office time but majority of the time will be on the floor. (80% floor and 20% desk).
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Basic CNC knowledge (ability to troubleshoot)
Bachelors Degree in engineering (will consider candidate without a degree)
hands on experience on shop floor
Experience w/ CAD (ability to read prints)
Nice to have skills:
Able to program CNC's
PLC experience - editing and or programming
Solidworks
