Description:
This position is for a a Manual Machinist in a job shop environment where candidates will most of the time receive blueprints or engineering drawings machining shafts drives and rollers, the shafts are 1" to 1.5" in diameter. They will drill and tap at times which is the most repetitive task. They will mill and drill plastic pieces, bore out sprockets, make key ways on shafts for motors. There will also be troubleshooting responsibilities as well because a lot of their equipment is custom and the jobs don't always go to plan. The position will be working alone and no other machinists are on staff so they need to be able to work independently and organize their priorities. The equipment used is manual lathes, manual mills, boring mills, drill presses and other equipment as jobs call for it.

Requirements5+ years of Manual Machining experience using Lathes, Mills, Boring Mills, and other equipment
Ability to interpret and read blueprints
Utilize fabrication tools to complete jobs as necessary
Troubleshooting abilities to problem solve and correct production issues that come up
