Description
The GREF IT Infrastructure Services team is the technology liaison between Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) and IT Services (ITS) globally for new sites and expansions (Day 1) and Post Occupancy Projects (POP). In this role you will lead an AMER team that delivers a set of services including IT Construction Coordination, Building Cellular Enhancement (DAS), and Circuit Delivery.
Key job responsibilities
This role will lead a team of Project Managers that deliver IT Infrastructure on construction projects
Integrate and uphold IT infrastructure standards and guidelines within various building and tenant improvement buildouts with owner representative’s and construction delivery managers for circuit delivery, telecommunications room buildout and structured cabling system infrastructure
Provide technical program advocacy to bridge IT delivery requirements with facilities based construction solutions to minimize scope revisions during design and construction delivery of projects
Coordination with IT for project forecasting and supporting supply chain management for regional product inventory availability with manufacturers
Support due diligence review analysis and requirements gathering of new sites being evaluated for upcoming lease opportunities; confirm existing site conditions, perform risk assessment, coordinate with leasing for landlord improvements and evaluate telco service provider presence and service entrance redundancy buildings and metropolitan environments for traditional circuits and/or leasing of dark fiber
Provide IT advocacy and leadership for unique project applications or when a policy exception might be required given project constraints
Provide project programming for new core and shell base building development with Amazon stakeholders, third party building developers and design and construction delivery project representatives

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years of experience with enterprise level project/program management
Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project
Excellent analytical, quantitative, written and presentation skills
Experience with detailed project planning, reporting, and measurement
Experience working in a highly technical, metrics driven, environment
Strong multi-tasking and influencing skills
Flexibility to travel, both domestically and internationally, and work within global time zones
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with physical layer telecommunications structured cabling infrastructures standards and installations
Working understanding of network, server and wireless hardware WAN/LAN/SAN architecture and topologies
Exposure to multiple project management methodologies is a plus
BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) credential preferred
