Employer:Bristol-Myers Squibb CompanyPosition:Manager, Statistical Programming (ref.# 4070)Location:3551 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648Duties: Provide programming expertise to clinical project teams to support the development, regulatory approval and market acceptance of BMS products by drawing on experience with SAS, R and other programming language to produce derived analysis datasets and TFLs (Tables, Listings, and Figures); software tools and applications such as MS office, XML, and Pinnacle 21; handling and processing of upstream data such as multiple data forms, workflow, eDC, SDTM and providing outputs to meet downstream requirements such as ADaM, Data Definition Table, and e-submission; and understanding of clinical data structure such as CDISC standards and relational database. Design, develop and implement technical solutions for analyzing and reporting clinical data. Develop collaborative relationships and work effectively within GBDS (Global Biometrics & Data Sciences), with external vendors and members of cross-functional development teams. Create SAS programs to generate derived analysis datasets and content for tables, listings, and figures. Perform programming validation to ensure quality of analysis datasets and programming outputs. Provide programming support for project teams, including development of programming strategies, standards, specifications and programmed analysis. Support the electronic submission preparation and review. Review key planning documents such as statistical analysis plan, data presentation plan, and data review plan to ensure alignment with development team objectives and clarity and completeness of programming assumptions and requirements. Assess impact on programming activities. Interact with vendors regarding project standards, programming conventions, programming specifications and file transfers. Provide leadership for ensuring quality of GBDS deliverables by consistently applying standards and complying with regulatory requirements, guidance and corporate and departmental SOPs and work practices. Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and consistency within GBDS and our interactions with strategic vendors. Support improvement initiatives. May telecommute to Lawrence Township, NJ from any U.S. location. Requirements: Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in programming in pharmaceutical industry showing demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.
