Kforce has a client in Woodbridge, VA that is seeking a Procurement Officer.Responsibilities:

　　The Procurement Officer will meet with assigned departments to understand needs and develop solutions

　　Provide procurement guidance to preserve the integrity of the procurement process

　　Prepare solicitations (RFQ, IFB, RFP), amendments, modifications, determinations and findings, contracts, and related contract documents

　　Leads the solicitation process on behalf of the customer department

　　Manage RFP evaluation committees providing guidance and instructions throughout the procurement process

　　Review procurement transactions for compliance with codes and regulations

　　The Procurement Officer will review specifications and assist departments with writing specifications for goods and services

　　Interface with suppliers as a representative of the County and Procurement Services

　　Strong interpersonal skills

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　Demonstrated time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy on multiple tasks

　　Demonstrated experience evaluating potential solutions and determining the best course of action

　　Working knowledge of State and local public procurement regulations, rules, policies and procedures

　　Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned

　　Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
