  KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Public Affairs to join our Corporate Affairs organization.

  Responsibilities:Manage, coordinate, and execute public affairs initiatives Collaborate across KPMG US to help map and engage non-client external stakeholders, such as business and trade organizations, professional bodies, NGOs, leading thought leaders, academics, analysts and alliance partners; support management of relationshipsImplement data-driven, AI- leveraged project management successfully across all effortsApply rigorous attention to tasks and deliverables; measure and monitor progress to drive successful outcomesDevelop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships and proactively support other team members and projectsQualifications:Minimum five years of recent experience working in Public Affairs; industry knowledge and communications experience a plusBachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeExceptional writing and project management skills with keen attention to detail; possess experience in stakeholder identification, outreach, and engagementData-driven approach to public affairs communications planning and strategy; demonstrated experience in third party engagementProven technical aptitude and critical thinking; knowledge of MS Office and digital and social media channels; strong attention to quality, detail, and timeliness in support of public policy positionsAbility to thrive, multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; proven track record as a collaborator and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, KPMG provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year. Additionally, each year the firm publishes a calendar of holidays to be observed during the year and provides two firmwide breaks each year where employees will not be required to use Personal Time Off; one is at year end and the other is around the July 4th holiday.
