　　The opportunity

　　Result oriented with proven success in the areas of Global sourcing, Materials procurement, Vendor development. Having expertise in procurement with through understanding of supply markets, Trends, Cost drivers along with business understanding of pharmaceutical industry. Works closely with key stakeholders to develop effective sourcing strategies and ensure implementation including negotiation and execution of supply agreements and quality agreements. Develops strategic relationships that leverage supplier capabilities, ensure continuity of supply and reduce total cost of ownership. Create and implement a continuous improvement sourcing approach for key spend areas. Leads and manages direct reports to achieve group objectives.

　　How you’ll spend your day

　　Report directly to Associate Director – Direct Material at Goa Manufacturing site

　　Supplier development, relationship building and partnership maintenance - Foster and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment of key business, quality and compliance objectives. This includes periodic visits to key suppliers to manage continuous improvement activities apart from new vendor development.

　　QOTIF – Ensure delivery of products are in accordance with targets such as exceeding the set targets of Quality on Time in Full to avoid stock out at site locations.

　　Inventory – Work closing with planning team in procurement of input materials at right time with right quantity and avoid accumulation of nonmoving stock. Rejections are to be handled with care to avoid recurrence of such rejections. Meet year on year targets of allowed inventory levels by managing procurement end to end.

　　Price Savings – This role is expected to have complete understanding of market price trend for the raw materials used in the production process to achieve set savings target on year on year basis.

　　Secure Supply – Expected to be up to date on market situation and ensure security in supply by introducing right alternate suppliers by closely monitoring the movement of both local and international supply markets. Expected to maintain multiple sources for sourced products at all the times while meeting regulatory compliance requirements

　　Regulatory Understanding – Expected to have reasonable understanding on the regulatory requirements relating to procurement, supplier selection, dealing with problems etc.,

　　Your experience and qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field

　　Have background in pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferable.

　　Minimum of 8 years experiences in Procurement, Sourcing, and Buying while total experience of 8 to 15 years

　　Excellent Command in English (Listening / speaking / writing) is required.

　　Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, and team management skills.

　　Comfort to work in cross functional teams, both local and regional.

　　Experience in use of ERP Tools such as SAP, and proficiency with Microsoft office tools.

　　Self-motivated.
