　　We are seeking qualified candidates for our CNC Machinist opportunity to join our Williamston, Michigan team! This position contributes to the manufacturing of quality blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment and all sub-assemblies by producing machined parts; setting up and operating a CNC Machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Responsible for maintaining compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards.Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).Configures mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.Loads machine with work pieces.Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpiecesMaintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.QUALIFICATIONS

　　Minimum 2 year's relevant experience. Skilled-trades certification is preferred.Capable of making hand drawing of components and making parts with use of tool room equipment.Knowledge and proficiency in conventional and CNC equipment and/or manufacturing three (3) dimensional holding and punch tooling, mold modification or repair, and other special tooling for blow molding process.Ability to work with metric and inch system.Must have personal hand tools to perform tasks effectively.Bekum America Corporation reserves the right to change, amend, add, delete, and otherwise assign any and all duties, responsibilities, and position titles as it deems necessary to meet the needs of its business.
