Packaging material Procurement Planning, ensure effective flow of Packing materials to meet production schedules.
Support Alternate Vendor Development
Arranging RFQ/RA/Quotations for raising purchase orders Material delivery as per production plan/schedule and inventory norms in co-ordination with planning, warehouse, QC, QA etc.
Work closely with Packaging Development team and finance for pack change/artwork change
Focus on mitigation/elimination of SLOB inventory Co-ordination with suppliers for complaint investigations, rejections and CAPA closure and rejection handling Exposure to alternate vendor development, artwork approval process, tracking of shade card expiry and Quality management system (Change request, CAPA, etc) Documentation from suppliers Co-ordination with the suppliers for statutory compliance, change management, audits etc
Publishing monthly MIS Inputs to packing development for improvement in productivity and costs
Skills, Education, Experience –
Education : Graduate / Post Graduate (IIP graduate preferred) with 5-10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical company. Previous exposure of packing material procurement
Skills Required : Good negotiation skills, analytical skills, Knowledge of SAP will be preferred, proficiency at excel and powerpoint presentation, data analysis
Experience : 5-10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical company.
