We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as theManager of Pricing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to make a significant impact on our business.
As the Manager of Global Pricing Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our pricing strategies across international markets. A key aspect of this role is to manage Terminal Tractors global pricing and discount strategy/policy.
The position is opened for Helsinki.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Manage and develop product and option pricing and discount strategy/policy
Owner of the periodical pricing process, proposals and implementation
Monitor and measure order intake, sales revenue, and profitability development
Identify areas of profitability improvement on area of pricing strategy, option prices, discounts and delivery terms in cooperation with market areas
Advice and develop pricing excellence together with Sales & Product Management
Train, support and coach global & regional sales into pricing, process and tools
Support major deal management & analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels.
Requires ability to travel- occasional infrequent working hours due to international nature of the business and organization structure.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education
Commercial or Technical background, Masters degree in relevant field.Experience
At least 5 years of relevant business / product experience.Competencies
Leadership
International business negotiation skills
Practical knowledge on different pricing methodologies and strategies
Terminal Tractors or similar industry experience
ERP/CPQ skills are considered an asset
Delivering measurable results and meeting customer expectations
Proven track-record from deciding and initiating action.
