This role represents a management position within the Asset Sustainability Group to help grow, operationalize, and scale Ameresco’s Energy and Climate offering. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, an entrepreneurial spirit, and leadership qualities with specialist knowledge of building energy systems, built environment decarbonization pathways, and will be experienced working with, and analyzing, complex data sets.
Responsibilities:
Help scale business by growing and nurturing a team of talented individuals capable of delivering high-impact energy and climate services. Foster a collaborative team environment and nurture future leaders encouraging curiosity and innovation throughout the group.
Build a team capable of performing services involving data analytics, GHG emissions advisory and reporting, energy management, decarbonization planning, and climate advisory.
Develop processes and systems which demonstrate operational excellence and ensure on-time, on-budget, delivery of project engagements.
Become a trusted advisor and foster long-term partnerships with key accounts. Closely collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure client success and position new opportunities.
Contribute to ASG’s business objectives and corporate goals by contributing to, and influencing, go-to-market strategy, business development, and project delivery.
Help develop business development playbooks for energy and climate sales within key markets such as: Business & Corporate Services, Consumer Goods & Services, Manufacturing, Federal Government, Public Sector, K-12, Housing, Higher Education and Health Care.
Collaborate with the business development team and provide subject matter expertise on strategic initiatives. Help produce and refine content for strategic proposals and presentations.
Attend industry conferences and trade shows to increase our ASG’s market presence. Help grow Ameresco and ASG’s brand by becoming a panelist at sponsored industry events.
Contribute to product enhancements for Ameresco’s AssetPlanner® software platform as a subject matter expert and thought leader.
Research industry trends and provide strategic direction through collaboration & innovation, influencing new software applications and products.
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in a related field, Engineering, Economics, Business
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience
Active membership in one or more industry groups or associations
Additional Qualifications:
MA/MS in a related field preferred
Proven success with delivering innovative solutions and demonstrating thought leadership.
Proven ability collaborating with leadership and acting on strategic initiatives.
