Robert Half is hiring a Manager of Applications Development. This role focuses on leading a team to develop innovative solutions for existing issues and identifying new technology solutions. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team in the IT industry, working in an environment that encourages proactive initiatives and fosters relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to develop innovative solutions for existing issues and identify new technology solutions.

• Collaborate with IT Project Management Office on large project installations or enhancements of advanced technologies.

• Evaluate budget needs, submit suggested priorities based on program objectives, and justify needs to higher officials.

• Understand the business of information technology and apply sound financial, human resource, and management expertise to support the university's IT needs.

• Collaborate with IT directors and campus business managers to ensure the appropriate mix of IT services supports the university’s needs.

• As a member of IT leadership, provide leadership to ensure long term planning for our technical/digital assets and operational excellence aligns with the IT strategic plan and needs.

• Cultivate an environment that promotes proactive initiatives and prevention.

• Demonstrate the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and manage others.

• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Analyze business data and processes.

• Conduct technical, financial, and trade-off analysis, and effectively present analysis results, options, and recommendations.

• Handle sensitive information and confidential matters.

• Meet timelines and deliverables.

• Show commitment to client service and manage client expectations.

• Focus on client satisfaction.

• Manage multiple tasks/assignments at one time.

Requirements • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in application development and management is required.

• Strong knowledge and experience with CRM and Database systems.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to oversee a team of developers.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

• Ability to problem-solve and make strategic decisions regarding application development and management.

• Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong knowledge of current industry trends and advancements in application development.

• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
