The Cardinal Health Enterprise Logistics team delivers products and services that create a differentiated experience for customers while relentlessly improving speed, reliability, and cost through supply chain optimization. We enable growth through the effective and efficient movement of over 45 million shipments for Cardinal Health customers. That includes the flow of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
As the Manager of the Network Transformation team, you will lead new business opportunities and optimization initiatives consisting of transportation cost modeling, route and location optimization, cost-to-serve analysis, and fleet equipment optimization. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Planning, Medical and Pharma Distribution, Sales, Data Analytics, and transportation carriers to challenge network constraints and support projects across multiple business units.
Responsibilities
Maintain strategic vision for the Network Transformation department to prioritize the right opportunities and maximize benefits to service and cost.Manage a team of professionals, supporting and developingoriginal, creative,andforward-thinking logisticssolutions to improve existing business processes, service, and cost within supply chain utilizing methods such as statistical analysis, regression modelingand optimizationSupport new business initiatives consisting of transportation cost modeling, route and location optimization, cost-to-serve analysis, and fleet equipment optimizationCreate processes, procedures, and routines within the organization to operationalize new capabilitiesBuild relationships across the enterprise to inform decisions and maintain feedback channels. Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred5+ years of experience inTransportation, Logistics, ordata modeling role preferred3+ years ofexperience with networkoptimization andanalytics tools (Llamasoft, Supply Chain Guru, and Alteryx preferred)Previous leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office productsMulti-modal domestic transportation backgroundWorking knowledge of logistics management technologiesProfessional level business writing skillsWhat is expected of you and others at this level
