The Position
This position is responsible for leading the local IFP Manufacturing site's IT Infrastructure and IT Support located in Clayton to support a 24/7 operation. The area is organized and works according to Agile, and is focused on local Infrastructure Management, IT Security, IT Systems Management, Laboratory System Management, Desktop Services Management, and IT Vendor Management.
In addition, this individual will provide leadership to all employees and departments working at Clayton IFP Facility as well close collaboration with the DDIT IFP infrastructure and IT Support managers globally to establish standards and share best practices.

Essential Functions
Serve as a valued advisor to stakeholders for developing solutions that are aligned with IFP business strategies
Promote the strategic direction of the local and global DD&IT organizations
Collaborate globally in Novo Nordisk worldwide IT advisory groups in Production Infrastructure, IT Security, and IT Client Services to ensure involvement and influence over the decision making and strategic planning process
Navigate a complex stakeholder network, including DDIT Organization and local LOB to ensure good stakeholder management
Lead and develops employees in both technical and leadership competencies
Responsible for implementation of people related initiatives (e.g. on wellbeing or competency development)
Communicate, model and safeguard the SAFe and Agile methodology and principles through training, coaching, and mentoring team with Agile mindset
Participate in team and ART events to enable qualified mindset- and career coaching of employees
Build a learning culture by leading a transformation through personal advocacy, engagement and leadership
Ensure and support that the local teams are well integrated in the DDIT agile delivery organization
In collaboration with product owners, ensure evaluation of emerging technologies and business potential or impact (including prototyping) in planning, architecture and optimization to meet business goals and objectives
In alignment with DD&IT Production areas, develop and execute a regional IT operation strategic plan including resource planning, global process adherence, and further standardization of operations
Ensure ITIL Methodologies are implemented and reviewed periodically to ensure good IT Operations within Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management
Build a LEAN culture and mindset for process improvement and systematic problem solving (SPS)
Take an active role of vendor selections, vendor resource onboarding, performance assessment against KPIs/SLAs), and identifies areas for improvement
Ensure financial planning and compliance with budget timelines and policies
Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case by case basis based on the role).
Development of People
Ensure that reporting personnel have individual development plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.
Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.
Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other relevant field from an accredited university required
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively in Client Services, IT Infrastructure, and IT Security experience required
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required
Experience with infrastructure planning and deployment required
Experience with Vendor negotiations and management skills required
Experienced in developing and managing Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) required
Experience in project management, business analysis and systems development life cycle required
Proven track record of strong people management skills, including developing employees required
Track record of successful execution of IT projects of different levels of complexity with a variety of team structures preferred
Experience with FDA 24 CFR Part II Compliance for IT Systems, IT Infrastructure including data centers preferred
Experience working closely with IT teams in other countries preferred
Experience with Global stakeholder management experience preferred
Experience with the Agile SAFe/Agile methodology/principles and fostering the Agile mindset preferred
