About Manager, Internal Audit - Controls and Compliance

  Ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Columbus area that can work a hybrid schedule! Also open to remote candidates in Ohio and surrounding states that are open to coming into the Dublin, OH office quarterly.

  What Finance Controls and Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health

  The Finance Controls and Compliance team is responsible for acting as the second-line of defense from a risk management perspective. The team identifies emerging risks in the operation of the business and provides compliance and oversight in the form of frameworks, policies, tools, and techniques to support risk and compliance management. The team works closely with control owners and audit teams within the organization and with the business process outsourcer and evaluates and recommends improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.

  Responsibilities:

  Applies knowledge of auditing, accounting and internal control concepts to evaluate financial and operational business activities.Demonstrates knowledge of process flows, process documentation and internal control identification.Leverages project management skills to define audit testing plans, execute and document internal controls testing, and document testing results and related audit findings.Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to interact with others in a constructive manner that builds trust.Clearly and accurately documents business processes and related audit findings.Works closely with Internal and External Audit teams.Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred6+ years’ experience in related internal audit, finance, accounting, field, preferredCertified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant, preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge about internal controlsAnticipated salary range: $102,000-$145,700
