The function is accountable in managing and delivering the following areas:
Automation:
Actual experience in deploying AI solutions using tech stack such as Python, Azure OpenAI or AWS.
Good working knowledge/background in Data Architecture/Warehouse
Lead/support divisional/functional/cross-functional AI related initiatives
Interprets internal/external business challenges, translate business issues/challenges into achievable business requirements and recommend best practices to further improve products, processes, or services
Proficiency in data analytics
Good working knowledge/background in Data Architecture/Warehouse
Lead automation idea-generation workshops to build a healthy automation pipeline of ideas (in addition to low code automation related ideas)
Assess the need for upskilling, capability-building and provide recommendations on equipping he organization (as necessary).
Effectively communicate in various leadership forums the overall progress, risks, challenges and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
Timely completion of AI projects by working collaboratively with the automation community including but not limited to automation practitioners, developers, champions, and stakeholders.
Effectively manage project roadblocks or challenges. Collaborate as needed.
Operations Excellence:
Identify and organize enterprise-wide projects and initiatives to improve operational effectiveness of the organization
Partner with senior leaders and business partners for end-to-end process simplification using OpEx tools and methodologies, leverage common automation initiatives, eliminate process inefficiencies, and ensure alignment with relevant RELX workstreams
Facilitate AI related trainings/workshops (e.g. prompt engineering, ideation, AI 101, etc.)
Educate, coach, and mentor Automation Practitioners/Developers on OpEx tools & methodologies (as applicable)
Plan and successfully execute AI related projects to meet goals and support strategic priorities, delivering recommended improvements with supporting business rationale.
Serve as catalyst for change by stimulating, communicating, and institutionalizing AI related methodologies and the benefits these capabilities provide.
Drive cultural changes across the business and support deployment of the AI program
Communicate progress through OPEX forums and other applicable channels

Qualifications (mandatory):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Must have at least 5 years of working experience – at least 3 years of which is experience in leading AI related projects (e.g. Data Science, Machine Learning and other industry-leading AI solutions)
Cloud Certification (i.e. AWS and Azure)
Cloud computing, database management, data structures and algorithm
Other AI relevant courses (e.g. DataCamp, Coursera)
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentational)
Willing and able to work on any and flexible shift to meet business need
Qualifications (ideal):
Six Sigma Trainings and Certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt)
Automation Training and Certification
Project Management Trainings and Certification (PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master)
