DaVita is currently seeking a Manager of Finance to join its National HospitalServices Finance Team. The Manager will work as part of a highly strategicteam that supports DaVita's inpatient dialysis patients and fieldoperations, helping to drive growth, profitability, and operationalexcellence for the Hospital Services Group nationwide. Responsibilities willinclude overseeing the financial modeling process for business development,as well as supporting the team's financial planning and analysis(FP&A) functions and other strategic business initiatives. The Managerwill be based in DaVita's world headquarters in Denver, CO.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Modeling & ContractingOwnership of pro forma pricing models for hospital contracts, with anemphasis on driving continuous improvement to refine model accuracy andenhance user experienceLead the financial modeling process for all national hospital systemnegotiations, and partner with the Sr. Director of Account Management onvarious initiatives to drive growthWork closely with field leaders to review & approvelocal pricing proposalsServe as the finance liaison to DaVita's compliance department, overseeingcompliance-related projects such as tracking the financial health of hospitalaccounts, driving enhancements to the internal contract review process, etc.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Prepare detailed analyses of Hospital Services financial results, varianceto budget, tracking to forecast, etc. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisAssist with the annual budgeting process, specifically around settingguidance, refining forecast models, and providing budgeting support tofield leadersPartner with Accounting & Revenue Operations to monitor delinquentbalances, track & report on contractual KPIs, assist with monthly P&Ladjustments, etc.
Data Analytics & Other Business InitiativesSupport team's reporting & analytics capabilities, with a particularemphasis on building out reporting efficienciesProvide detailed analyses of key operational data to measure the ongoingperformance of the Hospital Services businessPartner with Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations on strategy-relatedprojectsSupport field teammates with ad hoc questions and analysesOpportunity to manage one or more teammates
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree, quantitative disciplines preferred4+ years in finance, consulting, or relevant business analytics roleExtensive experience with financial modeling and familiarity working withlarge, complex Excel filesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to properly digestcomplicated data sets or business scenarios to provide creative & efficientsolutionsTeam-player able to work collaboratively within HSG Finance and alongside ourstakeholdersStrong communication skills to share recommendations to team leaders and keystakeholders through verbal and written presentationsExperience with Oracle Essbase/SmartView, Anaplan, Microsoft SQL, andTableau a plus
