  This position provides compliance support specifically for DaVita'scompliance email monitoring program. This teammate will leverage technology toconduct monthly email reviews for potential compliance-related issues, anddetermine appropriate next steps based on findings. Additionally, thisteammate will make recommendations to improve existing processes, leadanalysis of related data, and develop relationships with internalstakeholders.

  This teammate will also be responsible for daily oversight and management ofthe Compliance QUESTionLine by providing clear and consistent guidance toteammates who seek answers to compliance-related questions. This teammate willwork collaboratively within the Compliance Department as a compliance policysubject matter expert (SME) and with other teammates throughout theVillage. Areas of focus include Anti-Kickback Statute, Antitrust,Beneficiary Inducement and the False Claims Act.

  Overarching responsibilities:Oversight and responsibility for the proactive Email Monitoring Program.Management and oversight of day-to-day operations of the ComplianceQUESTionLine. Ownership and maintenance of data and reporting for theCompliance Policies Team. Support Compliance Director on special projects asneeded.QUESTionLine Responsibilities:Review inquiries received and triage as appropriate. For compliancequestions, provide timely policy guidance to teammates and document clearlywithin system (EthicsPoint).Understand and be able to interpret compliance policies to provide appropriateguidance.Communicate policies, procedures, and potential risk in an easilydigestible manner.Analyze data to define and understand problems, perform research, andevaluate alternatives to assist leadership in decision making regardingprogram enhancements or areas of improvement.Escalate issues to leadership, legal, and/or the Investigations team,as appropriate.Review and track compliance forms and approvals related to policies.Help review and provide feedback for compliance policies, trainings and jobaids as needed.Participate in committees or independently review forms and requests forcompliance risk and provide appropriate guidance and/or approvals.

  Email Monitoring Responsibilities:Manage ongoing compliance email monitoring process, including, conductingmonthly reviews in Relativity and Brainspace and completing preliminaryresearch on potential issues identified.Document rationale for decision to conduct additional follow up or create acase in EthicsPoint Case Management System for matters requiring additionalinvestigation.Model continuous improvement in day to day working practices, consistentlyiterating on processes to ensure efficiency in risk mitigation.Build and maintain positive relationships within Compliance department andacross departments.Analyze data to identify themes and trends and present to senior complianceleadership on an ongoing basis.Communicate findings to leadership and make recommendations for next stepsrelated to issues identified.

  Qualifications/Skills/Behaviors Required for Success in this Position:Bachelor's Degree required; JD a plusRelativity and/or Brainspace experience required; eDiscovery technicalcertification(s) preferredMinimum of 4 years of professional work experience required Complianceand/or health care experience strongly preferredExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills; Proven ability tosynthesize/analyze diverse information, develop recommendations andsolutions, and articulate them clearly to business partners and leadershipProven experience in managingmultiple requests for support while insuringstakeholders are satisfied with completeness, accuracy and timelinessBroad knowledge of eDiscovery technology and the collection, processing,review and production of electronically stored information (ESI)Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills includingability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly andeffectivelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for successin this roleDemonstrated strength in time management required; ability to respond tourgent requests, prioritize appropriately, manage multiple projects andpriorities at one time and meet deadlinesAble to function in a team environment, being flexible and responsive tochanging priorities, and having an appropriate sense of urgency incompleting tasks and projectsProfessional presence and presentation skills (including PowerPointpresentations); ability to synthesize and present analyses to seniormanagement with persuasion and sound logicAbility to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretionand judgmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
