　　Role Overview:

　　The Manager of Fiber Construction Engineering will manage and coordinate all aspects of the Outside Plant Engineering program for existing and new Outside Plant facilities within the Segra multi-state markets. The position is responsible for managing the multi-million dollar OSP budgets, company engineers, and single source 3rd party engineering firms. This includes the planning and engineering of all Network Outside Plant facilities, including: Aerial, Buried, and Underground fiber optic facilities. This position oversees and or participates in development of various programs to achieve OSP goals of capital efficiency and installation timeframe reduction.

　　Qualifications:

　　Education: Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceExperience: Five (5) years Outside Plant telecommunications experience directly related to working with OSP construction, and OSP engineeringKey Competencies: Common sense and logical thinking, requires a high degree of mathematical aptitude, OSP Principals for Engineering and Construction, knowledge of OSHA guidelines and industry safety practices, requires detailed knowledge of industry construction and engineering design practices, strong project management and negotiating skills. Familiarity with software systems that support OSP organization.
