  Who We Are

  Facilities Management, in the Division of Operations, is an emerging department which coordinates and provides follow up on the maintenance, custodial, grounds, and utilities & energy services of the campus-built environment to support the teaching and research mission of the university. Facility Management is a service focused department and will be the initial point of contact for all facilities related requests from maintenance to access on TAMU buildings, infrastructure, and amenities under the oversight of TAMU.   What We Want

  Do you enjoy working with people and resolving facilities puzzles? Do you like to help others solve problems and think creatively? As a Facilities Manager, you will do just that as you oversee the daily supervision and management of Facilities staff and facilities-related activities for assigned Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) members. You will assist with the coordination of maintenance and repair related to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, custodial, and landscaping to ensure buildings are safe and functional. Come join us as we work together to ensure that A&M provides superior levels of facility comfort, safety and functionality to faculty, staff, students and guests. We need your ability to oversee routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance issues, departmental moves, after-hours emergencies and more. You will work closely with Facilities Coordinators and their assigned departments to coordinate day to day operation of facilities including responsibilities such as building access, and emergency management. You will provide excellent communication, organization, customer service skills, and conflict resolution skills in every aspect of your job. You will have the opportunity to grow you own skill sets as well as develop and mentor the Facilities Coordinators who report to you.

  What You Need To Know

  Salary is commensurate with experience with a starting range between $55,000 - $75,500

  This position is located in College Station, TX. Remote, hybrid or work-at-home options are not available.

  Qualifications

  Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as, Facilities Management, Construction Science, Project Management) or equivalent combination of education and experience

  Five years of related experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or facilities construction

  3 years of supervisory experience

  Preferred Qualifications

  The well-qualified candidate will have knowledge/experience with TAMU facility management protocols and software, including AggieWorks, Insight and AiM.
