  What you'll do

  The Manager, Dealer Recruitment and Selection is responsible for leading the recruitment and selection strategy for new Dealers – the independent owner/operators of Canadian Tire Retail Stores. The role is responsible for full cycle recruitment including creating awareness campaigns, hosting awareness events, sourcing and identifying talent and facilitating the assessment process to select top quality, diverse candidates.

  Strategic, process thinkers with the ability to proactively manage the end-to-end candidate recruitment and selection pipeline in an evolving and often ambiguous retail environment.

  Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups and often with senior executives.

  Courageous, action-oriented individuals that are comfortable taking calculated risks to change process while better serving multiple needs of the business.

  Outcome focused, accountable leaders with the ability to challenge the status quo to foster continuous improvement in a manner that considers stakeholder feedback and candidate assessment authenticity.

  Inclusive leaders who build and develop diverse teams that effectively anticipate and respond to disruption, while consistently delivering strong performance

  Curious individuals who strive to learn what it takes to be a successful Canadian Tire Dealer by building strong business acumen both at the Corporate and Store level.

  What you bring

  5+ years' experience leading a Recruitment & Selection function within a large organization or equivalent / transferrable leadership experience.

  Excellent understanding of current recruitment trends and practices with an ability to build a recruitment and selection strategies and annual plans tailored to short and long-term business needs.

  Demonstrated expertise at leveraging social media and recruitment-related technologies and/or platforms with an eye to understanding KPIs and return on investment.

  Exceptional communication, planning and relationship-building skills both with internal partners, vendors, and potential candidates.

  Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels with a strong propensity for cross-functional collaboration.

  University degree in business and or a related field.

  Bilingual in French and English language is strongly preferred.

  Experience in a large, complex organization preferred.

  Strong Retail / Franchisee Model Business Acumen is an asset.

  Existing relationships or understanding of our Dealer network is an asset.

  Some travel is required
