About the Team/Position
As a member of the financial benefits team, you'll administer retirement plans that help our associates improve their financial wellbeing and achieve their long-term financial goals. In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the 401(k) plan and other plans. You'll work with the team to identify opportunities to enhance and improve our plans, simplify, and streamline our processes, and help our associates effectively understand and engage with their financial benefits. As a member of the team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial wellbeing of our associates and providing them with the tools and resources needed to reach their long-term financial goals.

You're familiar with balancing many activities simultaneously and have the agility to re-prioritize tasks as required. You have project management experience, including data analysis, market research, and benefits program design. You're adaptable, curious, and not comfortable with the status quo, but instead are constantly looking to improve programs, processes, and outcomes. You have great listening skills, critical thinking skills, and solution-articulation skills. You possess strong analytical skills, some knowledge of statistical analysis, and are comfortable working with large data sets. You bring knowledge of 401(k) plans or other retirement plans.
What you'll do...
Works with senior leadership team and legal counsel to ensure correct processes are in place to maintain compliance with 401(k) related regulations by researching pending legislation and changes to laws; handling enrollment requests within allotted time frame; developing, organizing, and facilitating process training to ensure processes are compliant; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to roll out and communicate network processes, communication materials, and resources to the team; assisting with escalated calls related to appeals cases; writing and responding to service inquiries from customers; and developing, tracking, and reporting results to management.Manages third-party administrators (TPAs) by researching and benchmarking new TPAs and business partners; providing analytical support and recommendations to senior leadership to make plan design decisions; conducting on-site visits and audits; working with TPA contacts to ensure service and financial goals are met per contractual agreement; maintaining open lines of communication with TPAs; translating requirements to ensure proper interpretation and benefits administration; providing training and education to TPAs; reviewing and approving third-party and supplemental plan communications; and continually reviewing and recommending enhancements to multiple benefits systems.Manages electronic eligibility files and discrepancies for all benefits plans to ensure they are administered and executed in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations by researching and interpreting new and changing legislation; determining needed system and process solutions to comply with new requirements; resolving identified issues based on file expertise; collaborating with vendors to make needed adjustments; and creating and implementing necessary reporting and controls around business processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.Manages plan design change projects for benefits systems by analyzing project needs; interpreting file layout requirements and comparing them to current systems; translating file requirements to ensure proper business procedures and benefits administration from a systems perspective; evaluating current system limitations; determining needed system changes to support file requirements; identifying potential consequences of changes to system processes; collaborating with Information Systems Division to determine the best solution while maintaining compliance; influencing and negotiating with vendors to accommodate file connectivity; providing direction to new vendors regarding requirements for system connectivity; managing eligibility file programming between multiple vendors; resolving complex issues which impact internal teams and external vendors; and developing performance reports.Develops project plans and leads business customers through the project management process by determining needed changes and file requirements; ensuring adoption of changes and file requirements; creating communication plans to announce project procedures to leadership, project team, and stakeholders; working with the business unit and project team to determine project approval parameters; and managing the approval process for project parameter changes.Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.Models' compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
