Responsibilities Serves as a program analyst for asset management in J64, Technology Foundation Services. Assists in administering the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system for requirements process and review and is responsible for coordinating, ordering, and asset management of personal computer equipment and software. Performs administrative analytical, planning and evaluative work requiring a high degree of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. Research problems and issues, written and oral communications skills and application of mature judgment in problem solving. Participates in recommending changes necessary in equipment or software to eliminate one time and recurring problems. Collecting and maintaining equipment problems data bases for trend analysis and subsequent remedial vendor action. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Provides assistance for hardware, software and information technology questions and problems. Screens software and hardware requests for system compatibility. Accomplishes detailed virtual and/or physical inventories of all IT assets and ensures the accuracy of IT inventory records. Responsible for keeping a quantity level of stock that is compatible with current systems. Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
