　　The Position

　　Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.

　　The Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) is recruiting for a Management Analyst IV in Carson City. This position is a Supervisory Lead Manager for the Central Office Fiscal Budget and Accounting Unit. The incumbent will lead a team that is responsible for the Division's Federal reporting and management of the Division's Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plan Narrative and cost allocation process. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive narrative and financial reports for presentation to the management team, which include detailed monthly operating statements; developing revenue and expenditure forecasts by analyzing current and historical fiscal data and trends to assess program needs; maintaining budget accounts to ensure expenditures are within budgetary limits; and preparing biennial budgets for assigned budget accounts. The incumbent assists with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls. This is a full-time position that includes a variable work agreement with overtime after 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work overtime during evening and/or weekend hours in even numbered years during the biennial budget build. 　　In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

　　Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)

　　Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and four years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and four years of professional experience which included budgeting, accounting, and/or economic or management analysis and projections; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and six years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.Special Requirements
