EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE WORKERS Requires general knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. Projects include cabin repairs, work with a crew to maintain the property buildings, utilities, lake. landscaping and roads. This is not a training position; construction knowledge is required.Duties:
Private Ranch/Resort 23 miles north of Kernville seeks someone with great customer service skills, a positive and cooperative working relationship attitude.Must be organized and detail oriented; have the ability to act competently in emergencies, be able to understand and execute written directives.Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.Must be able to work any day of the week and late/overtime shifts as needed and must have reliable transportation to and from work.Must be able to maintain balance, lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds; stand, kneel and bend and work overhead for extended periods of time.Must have the ability to plan, organize, and complete scheduled/assigned work.Level I plumbing and minor repair work on doors, windows, roofs, floors, and other building parts.Assists with installation of electrical wiring and fixtures.Assemble furniture and other structures.Maintain tools and equipment is safe and efficient operating condition.Make minor adjustments and keep equipment in good repair.Under supervision, maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems; troubleshoot issues with current systems as they arise. Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on pool and spas. Repair fences and gates. Maintain ranch grounds by mowing, weed eating, spraying, and other means necessary.Under supervision, perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely.Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.Must be able to adapt wo indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions where temperatures are very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (under 32 degrees F).Must work on ladders at varying heights, use protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, fall protection, and/or a hard hat.Exposure to pollutants, gasses, dust, fumes, odors, poor ventilation, etc. is possible.Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED and a current valid driver's license is required.Must possess basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.One-year maintenance experience is preferred.
