ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs generalmaintenance and preventive maintenance work on shop equipment.Interprets maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications todetermine repair and troubleshooting and procedures. Troubleshootsgeneral operational problems. Uses testing devices. Disassembles,repairs, replaces parts on, and reassembles equipment. Performs basicfabrication and assembly. Maintains facility by performing generalupkeep and repair operations. Refers those maintenance needs requiringproficient experience to supervisor. Maintains heating, cooling, andventilating systems. Runs and drops computer and telephone wiring, aswell as piping for basic plumbing. Performs basic electrical repairs onequipment. Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation ofequipment. Places purchase requisitions for parts or supplies, asneeded. Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance withenvironmental and safety procedures. Follows lockout tagout procedures.Proceeds under general supervision. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge ofand conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instructionrequirements that govern Maintenance operations. Maintains or exceedsproduction standards through efficient organization and planning.Follows and complies with all safety policies and procedures. Accuratelycompletes all required documentation. Meets attendance policyrequirements. Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas asneeded.
