Duties will also include performing routine maintenance activities, food safety program updates, and requirements and notifying management of facility repairs. Under limited supervisor, performs a variety of semi-skilled work, specifically maintenance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Clean and maintain all sections and walls in the banana ripening room areas.Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems.Maintain and troubleshoot problems in the refrigeration units in the warehouse coolers including cleaning in banana room areas.Perform preventative building maintenance duties.Track supplies, equipment and materials as needed to perform daily tasks efficiently.QualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceMust have previous experience cleaning and working with gas compressors.Ability to work OT as requested by management to complete special projects.Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse up to 7-8 hours at a time.Ability to work in the outdoor elements as the job needs arise.Preferred Skills and Experience1+ years of previous building maintenance and facilities experience.1+ years of working knowledge of refrigeration repair/maintenance.Hear from Charlie's employeesSupplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
