Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the processes of molding machines to ensure the production of high-quality parts.

You will troubleshoot molding problems, conduct routine visual inspections of products, and maintain documentation of production systems. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor, assist various departments in maintaining the uptime of molding machines, and work within the guidelines specified by company policies.

Responsibilities

Maintain processes of molding machines for sustainable quality parts.

Troubleshoot molding problems.

Conduct routine visual inspections of products.

Maintain documentation of the production systems.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor for 5S and Lean Manufacturing.

Assist all departments with the goal of maintaining uptime of the molding machines.

Work within all guidelines as specified by company policies.

Collaborate with all support groups.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of molding principles.

Experience with mold changes, color changes, and material change-overs.

Ability to work with robotics.

Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and 3-phase motors.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Shift

Monday- Friday

7AM-3:30PM

Currently working some 10HR days for those individuals who would like overtime.
