The main duties of theTechnician are to ensure that all electrical schematics andinstrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting duringunscheduled equipment downtime, repairs and complete preventivemaintenance service. Performs scheduled maintenance repairs ofproduction equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environmentPerforms duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical,pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines Supportsan optimized production environment by applying the principles of LeanManufacturing and 5S Responsible for maintaining and performing repairsto the facility Participates in special projects and performs otherduties as assigned Qualifications: One or more years of demonstratedexperience in the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumaticapplications The ability to read electrical schematics and vocationalmaintenance training certificate preferred Requires basic knowledge ofcomputers and operating systems Requires physical ability to climbstairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and usehands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended time framesMust have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly andregularly.
