We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor!

　　Maintenance Supervisors Oversee the maintenance team and provide maintenancefor the property including upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant unitsfor occupancy and preventative maintenanceAssist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for anypotential service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel inconjunction with the managerAssist in the subsequent training of all service,housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnelClean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipmentTake the initiative to improve processes and maintenance methodsMaintain MSDS sheets as well as replacement logsHold the maintenance team accountable to ensure they are meeting expectationsincluding attendanceSchedule and assist in the supervision and selection of all vendor workBe responsible for the inventory, ordering, and delivery of all necessarysupplies and equipment for the service, custodial and grounds departmentsunder the direction and with the approval of the community managerEnsure OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and companysafety policies are complied with at all timesHandle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for24-hour response to service requestsBe available to work on an on-call basisReport unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property orresidentsRemove snow and ice as necessaryEnsure necessary tools are on handRequirements:

　　Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electricalSelf-motivated with attention to detailAbility to operate various hand tools including power toolsAbility to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contactsEffective communication skillsProperty maintenance/handyman experienceSupervisory experience preferredAdditional Information: Must be willing to be on call.
