**Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements:**
Associates' Degree(Engineering Degree preferred)3+ years leadership and supervisory experienceOSHA-30 Certification preferred.Regularly lift up to fifty (50) lbs. Works in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time. May perform sustained manual activities including lifting and moving loads of a minimum of fifty (50) pounds, climbing ladders/stairs, and working on elevated platforms. Uses hand tools and operates fixed and mobile plant equipment. Works and travels throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity. Wears personal protective equipment, as required, and sues full range of motion.Performs duties in confined space entries.Requires daily contact with employees in other departments.Works in general office and manufacturing plan environment.Communication skills, both orally and in writing.Responds to emergency situations outside of normal working hours, as needed.Interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentoring.Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Knowledge of plant equipment and an understanding of importance of operation within designating operating procedures.Knowledge of processing and packing equipment maintenance and reliability.Knowledge of ERP Systems.Job Duties:
Directly supervising the activities of maintenance employees in the act of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work throughout the facility. Maintenance owns the capability of all facility assets.Ensuring safe capability, reliability, and operation of all equipment at the facility.Facilitating capture of near misses, incident, and accident investigations, and implementing corrective actions.Manage and lead maintenance crew, perform daily Gemba walks, determine problems that need to be fixed, and plan/lead weekly maintenance schedule meetings.Reviewing all employee time cards, managing employee time off to ensure support is adequate for the shifts.Coordinate with maintenance planner to ensure readiness for production.Conducting pre-shift huddle meetings and set expectations for shift performance.Managing housekeeping to ensure safe, efficient work environment. Participate in monthly safety and housekeeping inspections and mitigate all findings.Conducting safety meetings, incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.Coordinating resources of maintenance (manpower, inventory, equipment condition) to ensure production needs are metSupervise storeroom personnel and process.Lead and ensure spare part inventories are accurate and available. Ensure parts arerecorded on work orders and removed from inventory through MMS.Coordinating activities between maintenance shifts and communicating issues accordingly during shift changes.Providing daily updates to Maintenance Manager.Completing work orders generated for facility maintenance through the Maintenance Management System.Providing leadership to drive continuous improvements, the reduction of equipment downtime through predictive maintenance and reliability and determines necessary maintenance.Establishes and ensures achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Ensures appropriate information has been captures on the work order and if not returns work order to maintenance employee.Accountable for contractors as necessary.Understanding the importance of product safety, legality, and quality, including informing the Quality Department and/or the Leadership Team of any issues.Performing other duties as reasonably assignedResponsible for GMP and housekeeping to ensure employee and product safety.Equal employment opportunity and prohibit discrimination and harassment based on race, national origin, sex, religion, color, di ability, marital status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
