Maintenance - Stanley, WI
Job Summary- Under limited supervision, performs various duties across the plant. The duties may vary by day and hour, and may vary based on assignment.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure food safety and quality
Perform safety analyses and acquire proper permits before completing tasks
Tune and operate natural gas boilers
Troubleshoot mechanical issues
Perform preventative maintenance according to pm schedules
Assemble hammer mills
Setup and tear down of production equipment
Assemble tape machine and scales
Remove, replace, or install equipment
Complete work order documentation
Use of hand and power tools
Use of computer programs for maintenance reporting and parts ordering/inventory management
Assist with creation of PM system and program implementation and updates
Work towards the goals and expectations of the plant and this position
Other duties as assigned by the plant manager
Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
Learn and exhibit safe powered industrial truck operations including forklift, scissors lift and areal lift equipment.
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) and lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted
Maintain accurate record keeping
Able to work with various computer systems including creating, updating, and completing work orders in PM system.
Willing to work overtime if necessary
Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed
Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Any other duties as assigned

Protective Clothing Required: Hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, chemical and rain suits
Physical Requirements
Frequently move up to 50 lbs.
Sit and stand
Apply force using hand tools
Move from area to area
Remove refuse from grounds and department floors
Transport equipment and materials from maintenance shop to rest of plant
Position self to conduct work at various heights
Rotate body
Operate forklifts and scissors lifts
Ascend/descend from various levels
Adjust valves and dials as instructed
Repetitive use of hands
ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
