Reference #: STPLSCCleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler As a Maintenance Scheduler at Cleveland-Cliffs Steelton, you'll be part of a global team making railroad rail products that are visible all around the world. Schedulers effectively balance manpower and resource requirements for planned daily, down day, and outage work to be performed through best practice while maintaining operational goals for safety, quality, and productivity.

　　Summary of ResponsibilitiesTrack and document all required maintenance projects for your respective department in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.Review planned work orders and determine the most beneficial work plan based on resource availability to align with production requirements and planned outagesCreate job packages and supply job instructions, drawings, and safety documents as required for planned work.  Pre-stage materials as required.Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor and Parts/Logistics team to ensure parts and labor are available and ready to complete planned work as required.Compile and monitor performance metrics to measure success and compliance to planned schedules.Assist in development of database of Job Safety Analysis', checklists, work scopes, etc.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsTwo-year technical degree and/or technical training from an accredited institution.Minimum of five years' industrial/manufacturing mechanical & electrical maintenance repair activities experience is required.Experience in heavy industrial maintenance, such as steel mill, pulp/paper, oil and gas.Experience with hydraulics, water systems, print reading and machine shop math.Experience with computer-based maintenance systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and Project.Ability to lift more than 25 pounds on occasion.Climbing, kneeling, bending, stooping, walking, use of hands, etc. is required.Preferred QualificationsExperience in planning and coordinating major maintenance outages.Experience in Tabware, Computerized Maintenance Management SystemExperience in a union environment.Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
