  Join our growing team as we begin #buildingthefutureofcanola in the Regina. Located in the Global Transportation hub, our new state-of-the-art facility is projected to have an annual production capacity of 1 million metric tonnes and will provide a consistent and fast point of delivery for farmers and end users. Cargill expects the facility will add approximately 70 full-time positions.

  This position offers a $3,000 sign on bonus and is eligible for our relocation assistance program.

  Key Accountabilities

  • Research a task to be performed and record details in a structured chronological Job Plan.

  • Facilitate the development and revision of Maintenance SOPs.

  • Assist in coordinating planning activities as required for installation of new plant equipment or modifications.

  • Participate in team effort to develop maintenance procedures and preventive and predictive maintenance process for all critical equipment within the facility.

  • Develop proactive maintenance routes for equipment, task lists/job plans and recommend changes and improvements to the maintenance program.

  • Work with stakeholders to develop and prioritize maintenance work schedules according to operational needs.

  • Track equipment repair history, costs, and repetitive repairs to develop/implement proactive repair planning.

  • Maintain equipment files including work history, spare parts requirements, revisions etc.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant, and must be able to work in confined spaces.

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (SAP is preferred).

  • Must have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and to look at the larger picture.

  • Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude to work from all types of blueprints, maintenance manuals, and drawings and the mathematical knowledge required for such work.

  • Must be able to prioritize task and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of plant equipment designs, proper operations, and maintenance.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED.

  • Must have minimum two (2) years millwright experience.

  • Experience in preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting on high-speed equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Previous experience with maintenance planning processes.

  • Knowledge of environmental compliance procedures, practices and regulations.

  • Previous participation on a safety committee.

  • Previous predictive technology experience.
