We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Taylor St. Syracuse Facility.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment.

Skills

• Mechanical Skills

• High level Electrical Skills

• Ability to work in a Team Environment

• Ability to learn quickly

• Previous mechanical or electrical experience

• Welding a plus (not Required)

Hours

• Monday-Friday 9 AM-5:30 PM

• Must be available to work one Saturday a month

Candidates with a strong Automotive, Appliance or Electronics Repair background welcomed.

Military Mechanics - Veterans with Mechanical skills welcomed.

Essential Functions

• Must have strong electrical trouble shooting skills

• Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs

• Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment

• Responds to maintenance requests

• Provides emergency repairs of production equipment.

• Looks to improve maintenance processes.

• Follows written and verbal instructions and performs other tasks as directed by supervision.

Our Maintenance Engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring extended equipment life by predicting and preventing downtime and ensuring safe operation for our production team.
