General duties will include testing and overseeing the care and maintenance of all production equipment and GMP utilities. The reliability engineer will support all major capital projects that on-board equipment. In addition, the reliability engineer will be responsible for ensuring all applicable equipment is placed in a compliant preventative maintenance system.

The Maintenance Technician I assist in performing routine preventive maintenance, work orders, assists with installation of new equipment or systems and gives assistance to other technicians troubleshooting equipment breakdowns as directed by the shift Team Leader.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist personnel with troubleshooting mechanical systems and installing new systems.

Assist Maintenance Technicians II, Senior Maintenance Technicians and Team Leads with routine and non-routine activities.

Perform some drywall repairs and similar jobs.

Conduct building checks and report any problems to Team Leader.

Support engineering project for installation of equipment.

Respond to building alarms and take appropriate action.

Execute work orders and minor preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the Team Leader and according to established procedures.

All above mentioned functions to be performed following established safety procedures and all cGMP requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma.

Minimum one year Mechanic experience or equivalent.

Ability to learn and take instruction and complete work assignments in an expeditious, clear, and professional manner.

Basic knowledge of Electrical Systems preferred.

Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook required.

Flexible to work a 12-hour rotating shift, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
