Includes both inside and outside workinvolving plumbing, sheet metal fabrication, light heating and airconditioning, carpentry, painting and lubrication for badger\'sfacilities. Major Job Duties/Accountability: * Inspects, replaces,installs, adjusts and moves plant machinery and equipment as required *Trouble shoots machine and equipment malfunctions (mechanical) andadjusts to correct issues * Rebuilds and repairs somewhat complicatedmachinery and equipment * Overhauls troublesome components andattachments which may involve dismantling, inspection, replacement ofpurchased parts, fitting, aligning of gears, bearings and shafts,involvement in the application of pressed, sliding and running fits *Fits, aligns and calibrates production devices, moving parts, andadjusts feeding mechanisms. * Operates simple machine tools to machinereplacement parts * Instructs other Maintenance personnel when required* Works from machine design drawings, specifications, handbook formulasand equipment manuals * Uses scales, squares, calipers, indicators, Joblocks, levels, verniers, and parallels Qualifications: * 5+ Years ofExperience in a related field * High School degree required * Basiccomputer skills * Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat trainingif applicable * Ability to work independently with little supervision* Maintains open communication and positive working relationships withstaff * Basic math skills * Ability to read, write and speak EnglishPhysical Requirements: * Must be able to demonstrate the ability toperform a 40 pound lift to waist, 50 pound lift to chest and 50 poundcarry test Competitive Total Rewards at Badger Meter: * Competitive Pay* Eligible for Annual Pay Increases * Comprehensive Health, Vision,and Dental Coverage * 15 days Paid Time Off + 11 Paid Holidays * TwoWays to Save for Retirement: Badger Meter contributes 25 cents for everydollar you contribute to the plan, up to 7% of your eligiblecompensation.
