Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd Shift
Currently there is an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic II in our Panels division on 2nd shift from 2:30pm - 10:30pm. This position will ensure that all plant equipment and machinery is maintained in working order. Build and rebuild equipment to meet manufacturing needs. Perform general building and site maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Maintain all equipment in the Business unitKeep all equipment in safe operating conditionsPerform preventive maintenanceInstall new equipment as requiredMinor repairs to fork trucks as requiredPerform safety inspections on all equipmentSchedule repair work on equipment based on production needsTroubleshoot basic electrical problems and some basic controls, such as motor starters, relays, motors, fuses.Fabricate fixtures, guards or parts to maintain or improve the equipmentPerform typical electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, or machine work to maintain the equipmentMake out purchase requisitions for repair parts and replacement stock itemsLook for opportunities to improve equipment efficiency or process improvementsMaintain all records of repairs made to equipmentWork independently with little supervisionProvide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and DeliveryParticipate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methodsHandle internal and external questions in a prompt professional mannerMaintains a clean and safe work environment at all timesContinually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performancePerforms all reasonably related duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED1 to 2 years of progressively more responsible maintenance experienceElectrical maintenance experience preferred.Strong attention to detailAbility to work overtimeRequirements:Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations.
